Toolmaker Dave Says Adios

Dave Davies one of P&R's longest serving toolmakers retired from his position recently. Dave was instrumental in the manufacture and more recently the maintanance of many of the high volume tools manufactured here in Oldham. Over the years Dave had to get to grips with new equipment and rapidly advancing technolgy which was just as challenging as the jobs that he worked on(he said). His calm methodical approach is already being missed and his replacement will surely have much to live up to.
Dave was an active motorcyclist hence the region of France he chose to move to with all thoses twisty roads. He was also a keen member of our company kart team which alas we had to retire him from some years ago.
We wish you and Jill many years of biking bliss.
