Toolroom welcomes two new additional Hurco Machining Centres

We were pleased to see delivery into the toolroom yesterday of two new additional Hurco machining Centres. They arrive at a time just when our in-house toolroom is particularly busy. Both operating 16 multi chuck heads and spindle speeds of 10,000 rpm we anticipate that they will shorten lead times and improve throughput immediately. It's also a considerable investment when many toolmakers and injection moulders are watching every penny at the moment. The consequence of this of course is that there are deals to be had and this was the case. With over 60 tools completed by Patterson & Rothwell as a toolmaker and an additional 20 tools handled by P&R from local mould toolmaking companies and overseas operations, a constant stream of investment on new kit is required to be at the top of your game. I'd challenge anybody to visit our Toolroom and Design Studio and not declare it World Class. Quite a statement but we are all so proud of the facility here at P&R.
